Safety Director

Brian Lane oversees all safety operations for Railroad Construction Company, Inc. His responsibilities cover diverse construction disciplines such as rail and track, heavy highway, bridge and tunnel, building and electrical trade work.

Brian is responsible for the implementation and administration of respiratory protection, lead abatement, accident investigation, and silica awareness programs.

He is constantly monitoring and implementing company safety programs and development of Site Specific Health and Safety Plans for individual projects. He conducts on-site project inspections and coordination of necessary safety equipment for the full duration of a project.

In 2021, Brian was honored by Railway Age as one of 20 “Fast Trackers” for the annual “20 Under 40” awards program. From a selection of more than 100 nominees, Brian’s experience, leadership skills, industry contributions and community involvement earned him a spot among other top industry professionals, all under the age of 40, from freight and passenger railroads as well as the supply and consultant/ contractor and government communities, in the United States, Canada and Mexico, for making an impact on the construction industry.

Safety is more than a job to Brian, it is a lifestyle, one he encourages, upholds, values and demonstrates every single moment.
