Lauren Elsaesser has been with Railroad Construction Company, Inc. (RCC) for more than 35 years. As the Corporate Treasurer and Vice President of Finance, Lauren is responsible for daily financial transactions and she supervises co-worker compensation including management, 401(k) account transactions including the annual audit and she oversees the company’s subcontract department while preparing regular financial statements.

Lauren has been instrumental in the company’s continued success.

To enhance the philanthropic mindset of Railroad Construction Company, Inc., a Charity Committee was established and Lauren’s passion for animals and giving back to the community positioned her perfectly to serve as the committee’s co-chair. In this role, Lauren has explored new endeavors to support local organizations, inviting co-workers to participate and be part of our charitable contributions, including the following (to name a few):

• Monthly Giving Grocer
• In between volunteer efforts, our charitable nature should not waiver. To strengthen this commitment, the committee has initiated the monthly “Giving Grocer” to educate co-workers about the caring nature of some exceptional organizations that prioritize giving back.
• Operation Graduation
• Co-workers assembled gift bags for seniors graduating from Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology, which happens to be located right next to our Paterson office.
• Capes for Kids
• Co-workers decorated super hero capes for patients at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital.
