Anthony Tavormina, PE, Esq. holds degrees in civil engineering and law, as well as practical work experience in both fields. He has earned his professional engineering license in New York and multiple bar admissions. Anthony’s diverse education and experience in construction provide him with a unique knowledge and perspective on construction operations, management, and disputes. Anthony currently works as General Counsel for Railroad Construction Company, Inc., where he applies his extensive skill set on a daily basis.
Throughout his career, Anthony has worked with some of the largest construction companies and on some of the largest construction projects in the world. On the engineering side, he advanced through numerous positions in estimating, cost engineering, contract management, and project management while working on projects with a collective value in the billions of dollars.
As a construction attorney, Anthony advised and successfully guided numerous general contractors through complex claim analyses, contract negotiations, alternative dispute resolution, litigation, and trials—the most recent of which was a $5-million jury verdict in favor of his client.
At Railroad Construction Company, Inc., Anthony prides himself on having an open-door policy, helping his other co-workers to maximize their own potential, and remembering to have fun along the way.
He strives to live by the company’s mission statement to share our resources to benefits others and he is actively involved with several charities, including the charity committee at Railroad Construction Company, Inc. and Eva’s Village.
Anthony aspires to guide his co-workers towards success in the same manner as his mentors previously guided him, provide opportunity to others as Railroad Construction Company, Inc. has for him, and amount to the success of the many humble leaders with whom he has the privilege of working on a daily basis.
