Diversity and Inclusion
Culture of CARE
The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) has created the “Culture of CARE” initiative to advance the construction industry as the industry of choice for diverse and talented workers by building inclusive work environments in construction firms nationwide.
As an active member of the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey (ACCNJ), a chapter of the AGC, RCC has signed this pledge and encourages all RCC co-workers to take action and sign the pledge to help build a Culture of CARE:
- COMMIT to hire and pay based on skill and experience regardless of ability, age, ethnicity, gender identity, nationality, race, religion, sex or sexual orientation.
- ATTRACT prospective co-workers by creating inclusive workplaces that are free from harassment, hazing and bullying.
- RETAIN high-performing co-workers by identifying and removing barriers to advancement.
- EMPOWER every co-worker to promote a culture of diversity and inclusion.
At RCC, our co-workers are our most valuable asset. The concept of the Culture of CARE pledge is not new to us but serves as a reminder to stay the course and communicate our commitment.
Please visit BUILDCULTURE.org for additional information and to join us, as a company or individual, and sign the pledge.
